Coming Soon: 6 Bricks’ Springfield dispensary has been granted a provisional license by the CCC to sell adult-use (recreational) cannabis. Ownership predicts they will be open to the public as soon as Spring or Summer of 2021.

Residents of Western Massachusetts will soon have yet another option for where they choose to purchase their cannabis. 21+ consumers are anticipating the opening of 6 Bricks’ Springfield dispensary. This brand distinguishes itself from its competition by operating as a family business with an emphasis on respect for their local community.

Depending on development speed and that of their competitors, 6 Bricks’ Springfield dispensary could become the first adult-use dispensary in the city. The Cannabis Control Commission granted them a provisional license in early July of 2020, along with several other dispensaries. On July, 5^th, Owner, Payton Shubrick told Western Mass News reporters that they expect to open in 9 to 12 months.

One advantage of shopping at 6 Bricks’ Springfield dispensary is the convenience that their location provides visitors. Access to major routes like I-291 and I-91 make for an easy road trip. Their proposed site in the Republican Building on Main street has plenty of private parking.

While little is known about the menu at 6 Bricks’ Springfield dispensary at this time, we anticipate that as an independent business, they will add some variety to the products currently offered in in the region. Though their scope is limited to recreational sales at this time, a May 2019 article on The Reminder suggests they intend to eventually cultivate as well.
