Coming Soon: Cal Verde Natural’s Belmont dispensary has already received a license from the Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission (CCC) to sell adult-use (recreational) cannabis. Ownership optimistically predicts an opening as soon as Spring 2022.

Cal Verde Naturals’ Belmont dispensary is positioned to become the first cannabis retailor in the town. Having already secured a provisional license from the CCC, their last hurdle will be negotiating with local authorities.

Adult-use (recreational) sales will look a bit different at Cal Verde Naturals’ Belmont dispensary than what we have come to expect in Massachusetts. That is because Belmont’s bylaw regarding cannabis bans delivery service and pushes the legal purchasing age from 21 to 25. Owners Kelly and Stephen Tomasello believe these discrepancies will contribute to their brand’s mature atmosphere and minimize any negative community impact.

Once operational, Cal Verde Naturals’ Belmont dispensary will be one of the more convenient places for consumers in Middlesex county and Greater Boston to purchase cannabis. Access from major roads like Route 60, Route 2 and Route 16 make for a pleasant road trip from any part of the state. You’ll have plenty of room to park in their private lot that features 36 spaces.

While little is known about the menu at Cal Verde Naturals’ Belmont dispensary at this time, we expect it to reflect the founders’ commitment to alternative wellness.
