Another city in the Metro Boston is slated to get their first adult-use (recreational) dispensary. Quincy Cannabis Company owners Ronald Affsa and Jon Napoli are working with local and state officials to open in 2022. According the companies website, it may be called Cadella Premium Cannabis, once open. Affsa is a well-established member of Quincy’s business community. He has owned and operated Hairplace One since 1972. Napoli may be better known by cannabis consumers. He is the owner of The Hempest, which has been selling hemp products and accessories long before legalization reached Massachusetts.

Ins and Outs

The proposed site of Quincy Cannbis Company, which was formerly a pool supply store, is set to be completely renovated inside and out. These efforts will help improve the aesthetic appeal of the rotary off directly off of the Fore River Bridge for residents and commuters as well as consumers.

The floorplan of Quincy Cannbis Company, which was shared with a community outreach meeting in November of 2021, shows that the main entrance leads to a small reception area where the age of customers will be verified. Proceeding this room is the much larger sales floor. An impressive nine points of purchase on their expansive sales counter will keep wait times to a minimum. You will be able to preorder online to save additional time. Their presentation also indicated that delivery service may be available as well.

The positioning of Quincy Cannabis Company’s Washington St. dispensary will likely make it one of the most poplar recreational dispensaries in the area. It is situated right on Rt 3A and in close proximity to other major roads like I-93, Rt 53 and Rt 3. You will find plenty of space to park vehicles of any size in their spacious private lot. Customers who rely on public transit can take the MBTA’s 220 and 222 buses to the 3626 bus stop on Washington St. and walk.
