Coming Soon: Verdant Medical’s Mattapan dispensary has been granted a permit by the Boston Cannabis Board to serve adult-use (recreational) cannabis.

Verdant Medical’s Mattapan dispensary could become one of the more convenient places to shop cannabis in the Metro Boston area. The proposed location at 1589 Blue Hill Ave. is walking distance from the Mattapan Station MBTA station and a stop for the 28, 29 and 31 buses.

Positioning on Rt 28 and access to other major roads like Rt 138 and Rt 203 make Verdant Medical’s Mattapan dispensary an ideal for those traveling by personal car, taxi or rideshare as well. Street parking is available.

Verdant Medical’s Mattapan dispensary is owned by former city counselor Tito Jackson. He has expressed intent to open a production facility in Rowley to supply this location as well as a proposed store in Provincetown.
