Evergreen Farms Group’s Hyde Park Boston dispensary has submitted a request for a license to sell cannabis to qualified customers at their Hyde Park Ave. location. The company still must navigate a potential appeals process, draft a community host agreement, gain approval from the Cannabis Control Commission and register as a business in Boston before it can begin operations.
Evergreen Farms Group’s Hyde Park Boston dispensary’s menu of raw, infused and concentrated cannabis products are cultivated and refined in their Bellingham facility. The vertically integrated brand controls their cannabis from ‘seed to sale’, ensuring peak freshness, potency and purity.
Unlike other Massachusetts dispensaries that are financed and overseen by national players, Evergreen Farms Group’s Hyde Park Boston dispensary is partly owned by Roslindale local Kris Krane. He had originally hoped to run his business in his own neighborhood but proximity to schools made doing so nearly impossible. Eventually, he decided to pursue a location just next door in Hyde Park.
Sean Krane and Benjamin Smith, have expressed a desire to pursue recreational sales for a unique reason. They assert that many recreational customers use cannabis for therapeutic purposes but are reluctant to register as MMJ patients. One example is that consumers who are military veterans and could lose their VA benefits if they are documented as medical marijuana card holders.
