Cannabis lovers local to Upper Cape Cod and those traveling through Sandwich will soon have another place to shop therapeutic cannabis products when In Good Health’s Sandwich dispensary opens its 449 Route-130 location. Town of Sandwich selectmen signed off on a ‘letter of non-opposition’ and a community host agreement on May 23rd, 2019. The agreement requires In Good Health’s Sandwich dispensary to contribute 3% of its revenues to the town and help fund local substance abuse programs. The document also specifies that if the brand is acquired by Cannabis Life Services (as predicted), the new owners will have to undergo a new approval process. CLS is a national cannabis operation with strongholds in Colorado and Nevada.
A more diverse cannabis marketplace could mean more product selection and lower costs for consumers.
