Finally, a dispensary that embodies the values of the community it serves has arrived in Boston. Core Seed and Core Empowerment of Jamaica Plain’s Boston dispensary has began selling cannabis at their 401 Centre St. location (formerly Milky Way lounge).

Core Cannabis, the parent company, of Core Seed and Core Empowerment is partly owned by JP local, Tomas Gonzales. He has intermingled a social justice museum within a premium cannabis shopping experience. The museum is called Core Empowerment and co-located retail dispensary is called Core Seed.  Cannabis is sourced from Massachusetts cultivators and wholesalers.

Core Empowerment of Jamaica Plain’s Boston Dispensary is set to be a positive influence in their community. In addition to donating $500,000 over their first five years and giving 3% of their gross revenue to the city of Boston, they plan to support groups like Hyde Square Task Force, Spontaneous Celebrations, JP Partners at Mildred Hailey/Bromley Health, and the Regan Youth League and events like Wake Up the Earth Festival, JP Music Fest, the Latin Quarter’s World Fair, and many more.
